A little something to remember...

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says,
"I will try again tomorrow."

Stepping up for equality

http://deadspin.com/5941348/they-wont-magically-turn-you-into-a-lustful-cockmonster-chris-kluwe-explains-gay-marriage-to-the-politician-who-is-offended-by-an-nfl-player-supporting-it

I can't get enough of this letter. I'm sick of the complete lack of intelligence in the argument against equal rights from the close-minded, back-assward people in this country. So I greatly applaud those who stand up for us.

It was indeed an awesome letter, though as a publicly released letter, he probably should have lightened up on some of the language. Kluwe had some excellent points in his letter. He's right, sports figures have historically played a large role in changing social acceptance levels. I think we're going to need a gay version of Jackie Robinson...who will it be?
