A little something to remember...

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says,
"I will try again tomorrow."

Please vote for me.

So, I submitted a photograph to the Aussielicious self photo contest. I think it's a pretty good image...tasteful, yet nude. It's a back view.

However, I'm dead last in votes. If you wanna help, follow this link and vote for Matt.

Wrong Direction, but oh so right!

Beach

I spent what will probably be the last day of the season at the beach yesterday. It was a little chilly and windy in the morning and afternoon, but the midday weather was fantastic. Made some new friends and enjoyed the sun...no tanlines style. :)

What a week...

My week went from one of the highest moments of my career to a very low point in the course of about 24 hours.

Yesterday I woke up to a Facebook message...of all things...from someone I'd been spending time with. Perhaps you could call it dating. Whatever...it was new and fun and I really enjoyed the time I spent with this person. Almost a week had gone by without seeing each other and I had tried to stay in touch and make some sort of plan to get together all week. Constantly rebuffed, I had practically given up. Well, yesterday, I got a message basically saying that life is so busy in New York between work and friends, and that we weren't at a point to be 'checking in' on a daily basis. Whatever the hell that means. When I like someone, whether it be friends, family, or someone I'm dating, I communicate...whether that be texting, calling, or emailing.

Apparently my texts were 'moving to fast' and I had too many expectations. How many times have you ever been accused of being too caring?

Whatever...I'm calling bullshit. This person just isn't ready or willing to let someone in their life. And instead of accepting that as their shortcoming, they are placing the 'blame' on me. I'm not sorry, nor will I ever be sorry for being a caring and compassionate person. If you can't get past your own selfishness...you don't deserve this anyway.

Moving on....next.

Stepping up for equality

http://deadspin.com/5941348/they-wont-magically-turn-you-into-a-lustful-cockmonster-chris-kluwe-explains-gay-marriage-to-the-politician-who-is-offended-by-an-nfl-player-supporting-it

I can't get enough of this letter. I'm sick of the complete lack of intelligence in the argument against equal rights from the close-minded, back-assward people in this country. So I greatly applaud those who stand up for us.
